Dakota Kai vs. Vanessa Borne

Kai with a dropkick, goes for a running kick in the corner, no, Borne drops Kai first-face to the mat. Tries for a cover, two-count. “Cheer for me!” crowd boos. Swinging neckbreaker on Kai, cover, two-count. Borne stretches Kai out, crowd claps on in support of Kai who flips Borne out of the hold.

Couple kicks to Borne, running kick lands, then a running knee lands in the corner, ouch. “Team kick!” from the crowd, Kai leaps up and over Borne, hitting a sweet looking backstabber. Cover and that will do it.

Winner: Dakota Kai via Pinfall

– Post-match, Shayna Baszler heads out to the ring with a smile on her face. Kai looks pretty horrified as she stands in the ring. Baszler corners Kai who looks terrified. The referee tries to get her to back off, but Baszler ends up choking out Borne as Kai just bails out of the ring. Baszler stares down Kai the whole time like a psycho. Kai runs off to the back.

WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal:

Carmella waves the MITB briefcase in everyone’s face. Everyone gangs up on Carmella. Carmella is eliminated by a kick from Deville. The next person everyone gangs up on is Dana Brooke. She is also thrown out by everyone. The NXT women start an NXT chant. Mandy Rose is eliminated. Conti slams Dakota Kai. Bianca BelAir hits a 450 on Kai. Kai is dumped over the top. After the break, Deville and Kari Sane have been eliminated. Lana is eliminated. Devi is eliminated. Morgan dropkicks Conti off the apron to eliminate her. BelAir whips Lynch with her hair.

Lynch blast BelAir with a head kick that sends her over to top. Banks eliminates Kai and Lynch. James is kicked off the apron by Riott. Bayley saves Banks from a suplex by Natalya. Banks and Bayley. Bayley saves Banks from being eliminated by Logan. Banks and Bayley are the last two in the ring. Banks goes to shake Bayley’s hand. Bayley grabs Banks by the head and tosses her over the top rope! Bayley thinks she has won. Naomi was never eliminated from the match. Naomi hits the rear view on Bayley. Naomi dumps Bayley over the top for the win!

Lacey Evans vs Dakota Kai 

Evans goes behind Kai. Kai picks Evan’s legs and attempts a basement head kick. Evans takes down Kai and immediately goes after Kai’s previous;y injured shoulder. Evans puts Kai in a combo backbreaker/neck vise. Kai rolls out of it and schoolgirls Evans for the SUPER kicks win!

Winner- Dakota Kai

After the match, Shayna Baszler hits the ring and stalks Kai. Kai backs into the corner and she looks utterly terrified. Ember Moon marches to the ring. Kai hightails it out of there. Moon asks Baszler if she really wants to do this again. Baszler started this but Moon is going to finish it at Takeover: New Orleans. Moon attacks Baszler. Baszler tries to fight back but Moon mounts here and rains down stiff lefts and rights. Referees hit the ring to separate them. As Moon is being pulled away Baszler decks her. Moon drops like a sack of bricks. Baszler picks Moon up but Moon kicks her square in the face. Moon goes up top but Baszler cuts her off with an enziguri. Baszler puts Moon in a double wrist lock. Kai comes out of nowhere and hits a running big boot on Baszler. Moon hits a one-armed Eclypse. Moon stands over Baszler and lets out a warrior scream.

Shayna Baszler vs. Dakota Kai

Baszler has some horse sounds before her official theme hits to lay the groundwork for the four horse-women feud. We’re also shown videos of her attacking some talents at the PC that led to this match.

Both ladies well received by the crowd. However the “Shayna’s gonna kill you” chant quickly fills Center Stage. Kai staves off multiple submission attempts but finally gets caught and has nowhere to go. Baszler more or less toying with the New Zealander. Stiff kick and stomps to the hand to add insult to injury. Baszler stomps on Kai’s arm/elbow and the referee stops the match. Medical personnel there quickly to take a look.

Winner Via Official Stoppage: Shayna Baszler

– After the match, Baszler goes back to attack Kai and puts her to sleep with a clutch. Having seen enough, NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon comes out for the save. Baszler exits stage left to avoid any further confrontation.

NXT Women’s Championship Battle Royal To Qualify For The Fatal Four-Way At Takeover San Antonio

As Nikki Cross enters via the crowd every competitor stares her down. Cross takes off her coat, runs into the ring and immediately attacks Taynara Conti. The easy way to go over this is to post the eliminations:

Cross eliminates Taynara Conti.

Conti pulls Cross to the outside under the bottom rope. Conti sends Cross into the steps. A Conti leaves Payton Royce (who accompanied Billie Kay) picks ups Cross and sends her into the ring steps again. Cross is out on the floor, but not eliminated.

Bianca Belair kicks Rhea Ripley and the head to eliminate her. Belair bodyslams Zeda over the top rope to eliminate her.

Sage Beckett eliminated Dakota Kai.

Sage Beckett eliminated Aliyah.

Cross climbs up top and splashes EVERYONE. Cross eliminated Vanessa Borne, Sage Beckett, Abby Laith, Santana Garrett in a row. Billie Kay attacks Cross from behind to stop the carnage.

Mercades Martinez eliminated Sara Logan.

Candice LeRae eliminated Lacey Evans.

Belair gorilla press slams LeRae out of the ring.

Belair picks up Kay and dumps her on the apron. Kay latches onto Belair’s hair! Kay is hanging from the apron by it. Kay gets back in the ring and celebrates. Belair goes nuts and whips the Kay with hair braid like she stole something. Martinez elbow Belair in the face. Cross jumps on Kay’s back and the fall through the ropes. Belair spears Martinez. Belair raps her hair to avoid any more hair pulling. Martinez levels Belair with a chop. Martinez sits Belair on the top rope. Martinez lands a running boot but Belair holds on to the rope to stave off elimination.

Martinez tries to spear Belair but Belair moves and kicks Martinez in the face. Belair pulls Martinez over the top rope. Martinez and Belair fight on the apron. Cross runs into the ring and pushes Belair and Martinez off. Kay grabs Cross from behind and dumps her over the top. Cross hooks the rope. Kay misses Shades of Kay but Cross moves. Cross lifts Kay up and throws her over the top. Cross has done it!

Winner- Nikki Cross

After the match, Regal bring the NXT Women’s title into the ring. Royce and Cross argue. Ember Moon and Kairi Sane join them in the ring. Regal holds the title as all four competitors stare at it.
